Training and Preparation:

A Day in the Life:
Your daily routine will involve clocking into WellSky and the client’s insurance app, multitasking with household chores, and building meaningful connections with clients. Flexibility is key, as your routine will adapt to each client’s unique needs and preferences.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
Your caregiving duties will span cooking, cleaning, showering, and dressing clients. Be prepared for a dynamic role where adaptability is a core skill.
Fun Moments and Building Relationships:
Discover the joy of bonding over shared interests, be it food, music, or humorous reflections on societal changes. Laughter is a powerful tool in creating a positive caregiving experience.
Safety Measures:
Maintain a safe environment for yourself and your client by ensuring the living area is free from cords and other tripping hazards, as well as reassuring and communicating with the individual(s) in your care if they become confused or agitated.
Documentation and Reporting:
After each shift, use our apps to clock out and report any changes or concerns. In urgent cases, reach out to your supervisor promptly. If you’re unsure of who your supervisor is, call 615-891-4132 or email service@ahsteams.com
Software Usage:
Our user-friendly apps become second nature after a few uses, ensuring efficiency in your daily tasks.
Advice for New Caregivers:
Familiarize yourself with the apps, save administrative contacts, and thoroughly read client care plans. Your fellow caregivers recommend learning about clients’ insurance details upfront.
