JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Manager ensures the overall operations of the Human Resources and guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS OF HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER:
- Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health, and safety, etc.
- Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training, and development, etc.
- Oversee all HR initiatives, systems, and tactics
- Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance
- Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with labor unions
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
- Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
- Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
- Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics
- Ensure compliance with the company human resources policies and practices, as well as all related regulatory requirements.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state compliance requirements.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support in developing, implementing, and reviewing Human Resource and leadership functions.
- Working within federal and state labor and employment laws, FMLA, HIPPA, ADA, COBRA, and other regulatory laws required.
- Assist the leadership team in continually refining the role to assist in achieving their operational and strategic goals.
- Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes patient care quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Performed other tasks and job duties as assigned and needed.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- The Human Resources Manager must have the ability to perform essential job functions outlined above.
- Ability to handle multiple, high-priority tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload. Able to readily adapt to work prioritization changes.
- Ability to think and operate independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly developed interpersonal, organization, written, verbal, presentation, coordination, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to handle all situations with professionalism and a positive attitude and can effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to keep stakeholders informed about project status and prioritizations changes.
- Ability to operate a computer to access email, electronic calendars, and other basic office software.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Temperament to communicate with a variety of personalities in a tactful, pleasant, and professional manner.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Thoroughness and careful attention to detail.
- Knowledge of office policies, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of office computer applications and Google suite of applications (e.g. Docs, Sheets, Slides).
REQUIREMENTS FOR HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or related field of study.
- Three to five years Human Resources.
- Experience in a healthcare or corporate environment is preferred.

- Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision
- Accepts performance-based criticism and direction.
- Meets attendance requirements as established by the President
- Works a flexible schedule including long hours, weekends, and overtime when needed.
