Home Care

What makes AdvanceCare different?
At AdvanceCare, we don’t just provide home health care in Tennessee, we offer a new way of life.  Whether our clients aim to socialize more, attend church services, or simply enjoy life, we empower them to reach their goals.  Our homecare services go beyond help with daily tasks or companionship (although we offer those services, too); we represent a new way to live.  AdvanceCare is not a chain; we offer multiple services, and our staff is caring and compassionate. Our services include veteran home care and home health aides who want to help. We touch lives!
AdvanceCare is a provider for the HCBS Waiver and the CHOICES Program. We accept the following payment types: Private Pay. WellPoint, United Healthcare. BlueCross BlueShield, Long Term Care Policy. Workers’ Compensation. Veterans Administration Contract, and all major credit cards.  Read more about your options by clicking here. Because each care situation is unique, we prefer setting up a complimentary in-home consultation to learn about your loved one’s needs.  When considering elder care, choose a company that asks the right questions. If you have questions about the coverage of your existing insurance, don’t hesitate to call us! 615-891-4132.
If a situation requires you to reschedule a caregiver’s visit, please contact us at least 24 hours before the scheduled visit. This will allow us to make the necessary adjustments to your care plan so we can provide best care senior services for you.
Your satisfaction is important to us! If you are unhappy with your caregiver, we can discuss your preferences and expectations and select an alternative caregiver tailored to your needs.
You can call any member of the AdvanceCare HomeCare Administrative team.  You can also email homecareclients@ahsteams.com or use the chat option on our website as an alternative means of communication.  When it comes to home health care in Tennessee, we’re accessible to you.
Please notify someone in our office immediately, or ask a family member or friend to reach out to us. We want to monitor your wellness, check on you, and provide an update to your caregiver as well.
Yes, you will need to sign a service contract. This outlines the responsibilities and commitments of both the client (you) and AdvanceCare (us).
If you have WellPoint (formerly Amerigroup), BlueCross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, VA, or Choices, we will bill them directly for covered services. For Long Term Care insurance or Worker’s Compensation, we will send you an invoice, which you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. For private pay clients, invoices are issued twice a month.
Yes, we require a deposit equivalent to two weeks of service. This is fully refundable, and any remaining balance will be applied to your final invoice when our services conclude.

Family Model Services

What is your company about?
We help people! At AdvanceCare, we fill in the gap between our clients’ health needs and the challenges brought on by their disabilities. We offer Family Model Services, community integration, help with behavioral issues, and job coaching. We touch lives!
An FMP is a contracted person who has chosen to invite an individual into their home. They assist them with everyday needs, meals, medications, and doctor’s visits, providing a family environment with support and opportunities!
It varies, depending on the individual and your lifestyle. You will first meet with the individual to determine if he or she is a good fit for you and your family. If you both agree to move forward, then you will develop a care plan and a routine that works best for everyone involved.
You could apply on Indeed or visit our website, www.tnadvancecare.com, and go to our careers page to apply online. You can also call our office at 615-891-4132 and inquire about applying.
As an FMP, you would be a contractor. Unfortunately, you would not receive benefits such as insurance, PTO, or vacation. However, your pay would be tax-free income. You would have an independent work environment (in your own home) with a caring and supportive team of AdvanceCare admins to help. You would also have a meaningful career helping others be better, more independent versions of themselves!
Yes, we do! Karen L. says, “The best thing about being an FMP is encouraging others to grow and then seeing the look on their faces when they overcome.” Tobias’s favorite part of being an FMP is “Providing a safe home for a person that needs help and giving them the ability to live a normal life.”

Caregivers

I interviewed for caregiver jobs in Tennessee and was hired by AdvanceCare! What's next?
We will be sending you an orientation package. It consists of a series of videos with quizzes after each one. This process takes about 30 minutes.
The entire process, which includes orientation, getting you set up with the apps you need, and checking your background and references, takes about a week.
The client will be expecting you. Once you arrive, you can get to know each other, and then begin providing care! Generally, you can expect to assist the client with tasks such as meal prepping, light housekeeping, and running errands. The specific tasks will vary depending on the individual you are caring for.
With any AdvanceCare caregiver jobs in Tennessee, your supervisor will provide you with the necessary apps you need. We’ll also make sure you can sign into the apps and are comfortable with your job duties. Please wear khaki pants and a polo shirt in one of the following colors: gray, black, navy, or pink.
We will need either a completed direct deposit form or a blank check with your name, account number, routing number, and the bank name on it.
With any issues or concerns, your point of contact will be your direct supervisor. He or she will proactively reach out to you to assist with scheduling. The Sales & Marketing Director sends out a monthly newsletter that contains contact information for each scheduling coordinator and staffing coordinator in the HomeCare department. When considering caregiver jobs in Tennessee, choose a company that is easily accessible, like AdvanceCare!
