JOB SUMMARY: The Program Assistant will ensure the smooth operation of all daily activities provided by AdvanceCare Health Services, LLC. All work is confidential and complex in nature, requiring exposure to sensitive information and considerable discretion, tact, and diplomacy. This position requires the ability to exercise independent judgment. Considered candidates must have an excellent driving record.

You must have high-speed internet and prefer to have a 27″ or larger monitor, keyboard & mouse for use with our company laptop. (If you live within a 1-hour drive of the office, we can loan you a monitor, keyboard & mouse as well as the laptop).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Flexible Schedule, Paid Time Off, and an Employee Referral Program to earn extra money.

Schedule: Monday to Friday; on-call some weekends as needed.

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • DDA, ECF or CLS: 1 year (Preferred)
  • DSP: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Caregiving: 1 year (Required)
  • Administrative support: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Social work: 1 year (Preferred)

QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROGRAM ASSISTANT:

  • Provides necessary organization, supervisory, leadership, and motivation to manage office operations.

  • Ability to analyze documents and identify issues and improve productivity.

  • Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, written, verbal, presentation, coordination, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to handle all situations with professionalism and a positive attitude and be able to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of office computer applications and Microsoft Office suite of applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or business management software.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PROGRAM ASSISTANT:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, with a minimum of three years’ office management. Experience and/or college degree in a business administration related field.
  • Experience in a healthcare or corporate environment is preferred.
  • Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
  • Accepts performance-based criticism and direction.
  • Meets attendance requirements established by the company handbook & department director.
  • Works a flexible schedule including long hours and overtime when needed.
  • You must be flexible and willing to work and learn on the fly for this hybrid position in Tennessee!
