We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team to assist in daily operations in the Human Resource Department. We are looking for an independent, self-starting, and reliable individual that possesses a high level of energy coupled with great attention to detail. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR processes.

Duties involve onboarding new hires, maintaining personnel files, orienting new employees, and more. This is an entry-level position and there will be on-the-job training. The ideal candidate for this will be a person with basic knowledge of HR concepts. They must be willing and eager to learn how to apply those concepts in an office setting.

This Human Resource Coordinator job is a primarily work-from-home position. You must have high-speed internet and to have a 27″ or larger monitor, keyboard & mouse for use with our company laptop. (If you live within a 1-hour drive of the office, we can loan you a monitor, keyboard & mouse as well as the laptop).

Duties:

  • Assists in the hiring process by ensuring candidates complete the pre-employment screens
  • Administer pre-employment tests and background screen requests
  • Assist in onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions
  • Orienting new employees to the organization
  • Preparing new employee files
  • Maintaining current HR files and databases
  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews
  • Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data
  • Ensuring background and reference checks
  • Assists in maintaining confidential human resources records.
  • Ensures compliance in various self-audit
  • Assist in onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions
  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Support training and development initiatives for staff members
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and as needed.

  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
  • Must be able to prioritize, and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of office computer applications
  • Must possess personal qualities related to respect for the rights and confidentiality of others.
  • Must possess a high level of skill in communication, both written and verbal.
  • Must be flexible and organized
  • Ability to maintain effective verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Human resources: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Documentation review: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Administrative Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
